La Terrazza

Our restaurant "La Terrazza" is designed to create a modern cuisine rooted in the most authentic fine Tuscan tradition. The menu celebrates simplicity and flavour, using local ingredients and products. The outdoor terrace with panoramic views of Florence and the Duomo is the perfect place to enjoy the delicacies prepared with vegetables, fruits and aromatic herbs from our organic garden for breakfast, lunch or dinner. On cooler evenings, guests can enjoy a candlelit dinner in the Library.

Sustainable by Nature

Our organic orchard, vegetables and aromatic herbs garden is designed by a local arboreal archaeologist dedicated to preserving dwindling varieties of fruits and vegetables, the garden is home to an extensive variety of seasonal produce native to Tuscany. Flowers both decorative and edible also adorn the garden, as do purpose-serving plants (think pollination and insect repelling) making for a true ‘biodiversity’ source. Using the finest and freshest ingredients from the organic garden, the hotel’s restaurant serves a variety of local specialties that are truly from farm to table. In an effort to uphold and grow our sustainability efforts, we are enhancing our organic orchard and vegetable garden with newly planted olive trees. Steps away, our swimming pool will offer a new poolhouse restaurant, where guests can enjoy fresh dishes surrounded by Tuscan pines.
